Well folks, it’s official, we’re in the middle of a triple threat apocalypse: Covid, inflation, and the never-ending war in Ukraine. Not only are we struggling to find toilet paper, but now our food supply is also hanging by a thread.
Just when you thought things couldn’t get any worse, we’re now seeing record energy prices and a shortage of fertilizer to boot. But don’t worry, the government has got our backs. They’ve started rationing eggs in the UK and recently tomatoes are more rarer than hens teeth, so at least we’ll all have a fair shot at getting our hands on a precious egg or two. But don’t be surprised if you find yourself in an egg-cellent competition with your neighbors.
But let’s be real, things are looking pretty bleak. The coming years are looking more and more likely to see these problems compound into food shortages on a global scale. So, my advice? With over 15 years of experience in aquaponics, aquaculture, hydroponics, and general Permaculture techniques, in both Canada and Thailand James has extensive experience developing new technologies and products for commercial aquaponics farms,
James specializes in tropical and extreme environment commercial installations , Currently living with his family in Thailand promoting organic homesteading techniques, and is working on research and development for new products.
*2008 designed and established the first modern Commercial aquaponics system in Asia
*2016 designed and established the largest Commercial aquaponics system in Bangkok.
